Skills development facilitation
Enhance your workforce through strategic training and development
Skills development facilitator
At SA Campus, our Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) is dedicated to helping businesses enhance their workforce through strategic training and development. We assist businesses in submitting essential documentation, such as the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR), which are crucial for accessing mandatory grants and additional funding through the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
Our SDFs also collaborate with businesses to identify skills gaps and hard-to-fill vacancies, ensuring that training efforts are directed where they are most needed. To make the process seamless, businesses can schedule a consultation with our SDF team. During these consultations, we collect the necessary WSP and ATR documentation and handle the submission to the appropriate SETA, helping your business secure the funding it deserves.
Mandatory grant
At SA Campus, we understand that navigating the world of skills development can be complex. That’s why we’re here to help you make the most of mandatory grants offered by Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs).
These grants are designed to support and boost your company’s training and development efforts. If your business contributes to the Skills Development Levy (SDL), you’re eligible for this valuable funding. To access a mandatory grant, simply submit a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and an Annual Training Report (ATR) to your SETA. The amount you receive is based on a percentage of the SDL you’ve paid and helps to cover or support training activities that fit with your submitted WSP and ATR.
By leveraging these grants, you can ensure that your training initiatives not only meet your company’s needs but also align with national and sector-specific training goals. Partner with SA Campus to maximise your training investments!

Additional funding
At SA Campus, we’re passionate about helping you go beyond the basics with your training and development. In addition to the mandatory grants you can receive from SETAs, there’s also extra funding available to give your projects a boost. This additional funding is designed to support specific or innovative training initiatives that address unique needs or emerging trends in your sector. While mandatory grants are based on your SDL contributions and the submission of a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR), this extra support—through discretionary grants and project-based grants—offers more flexibility and opportunities for enhancing your training efforts. Let SA Campus assist you with accessing this additional funding to take your training programmes to the next level and achieve your goals with greater impact.
